Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 3+ years' experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, application development, or operations
  • 5+ years' experience working with programming languages such as C#, Angular, or JavaScript
  • Familiarity with enterprise data center technologies including storage platforms, network switching, and security infrastructure within a virtualized data center
  • 2 years of experience working with Azure Cloud technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Python, or Azure Analysis Service (AAS)

Responsibilities

  • Work with application developers to automate and accelerate the testing, release, and deployment of applications into a runtime environment quickly and reliably
  • Support and troubleshoot enterprise level applications resolving complex issues/situations and driving technical resolution across cross-functional organizations
  • Create prototypes of software tools and then present them to a team of developers for implementation
  • Programming in a high-level language such as Python, C#, Ruby, Java or other language to script installation, configuration, and provisioning
  • Integrate security measures with software processes and ensure that updates do not create any vulnerabilities
  • Establish and employ Continuous Integration practices and tools such as Jenkins or other CI tools
  • Provide Continuous Delivery solutions in a cloud environment and have experience with the core suite of tools used to manage different cloud providers
  • Employ industry Continuous Delivery patterns and collaboratively work with other members to achieve successful continuous delivery solutions
  • Clearly explain solutions to solve complex problems and impart knowledge effectively to junior resources and other team members
  • Help business users, software development and IT operations talk to each other to ensure speedy deliveries of high-quality applications
