Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
3+ years' experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, application development, or operations
5+ years' experience working with programming languages such as C#, Angular, or JavaScript
Familiarity with enterprise data center technologies including storage platforms, network switching, and security infrastructure within a virtualized data center
2 years of experience working with Azure Cloud technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Python, or Azure Analysis Service (AAS)

Responsibilities

Work with application developers to automate and accelerate the testing, release, and deployment of applications into a runtime environment quickly and reliably
Support and troubleshoot enterprise level applications resolving complex issues/situations and driving technical resolution across cross-functional organizations
Create prototypes of software tools and then present them to a team of developers for implementation
Programming in a high-level language such as Python, C#, Ruby, Java or other language to script installation, configuration, and provisioning
Integrate security measures with software processes and ensure that updates do not create any vulnerabilities
Establish and employ Continuous Integration practices and tools such as Jenkins or other CI tools
Provide Continuous Delivery solutions in a cloud environment and have experience with the core suite of tools used to manage different cloud providers
Employ industry Continuous Delivery patterns and collaboratively work with other members to achieve successful continuous delivery solutions
Clearly explain solutions to solve complex problems and impart knowledge effectively to junior resources and other team members
Help business users, software development and IT operations talk to each other to ensure speedy deliveries of high-quality applications
