Responsibilities

  • Working with the Chief Information Security Officer and Governance colleagues, this role is responsible as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), defining and enforcing IT security standards to be applied across the IT Services infrastructure across all digital services.
  • The post holder will ensure and provide assurance that processes related to the implementation and support for IT cyber security is carried out in accordance with industry and NHS best practice.
  • Discussions will be facilitated within Digital Services Delivery teams as to how best practice can be adopted.
  • The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all cyber security processes are documented, and they are managed in order to effectively deliver the required performance required within an IT security setting.
