Responsibilities

  • Be the resident marketing expert for assigned products like consumer debit, credit and prepaid; digital payments, network and acceptance solutions; and cardholders services in Europe
  • Work closely with the Core Payments Product team in Europe to develop launch strategies for new products, as well as narratives, sales materials and tools for all priority products, to be used by the Sales and Account teams
  • Craft and recommend product value propositions that are consumer-led, crisp and competitively positioned
  • Recommend and co-identify key product, segmentation, and positioning opportunities by leveraging data and insights
  • Collaborate with Europe Communications team to develop or localize thought leadership materials and lead external B2B marketing activities, including but not limited to the presence at relevant events and in the social media, with the objective to drive awareness and perception of Mastercard’s Core Payments solutions
  • Evaluate accomplishment of objectives using metrics defined for measuring marketing effectiveness
  • Supervise a team; ensure compliance to goal setting and performance appraisal processes; identify and coach top talent within own team
