  • Analyzing regulation implications for financial institutions, including cross-holding implications, loan portfolio sales and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) regulation
  • Drafting and negotiating deal contracts, including engagement letter, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), term sheets, share purchase agreements
  • Structuring, selling and execution of debt, equity, derivatives and hybrid capital raising's
  • Execution of secondary market transactions, including stocks, bonds, options and hybrids, and understanding their impacts to the primary market
  • Structuring and pitching capital solutions, including liquidity management, balance sheet optimization, principle protection, market participation, portfolio diversification and hedging; financial modelling, stress testing and sensitivity analysis
  • Investment Banking tools including Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, Thomson Reuters, Matlab and Excel VBA

  • Develop and execute on the investor relations strategy to foster relationships and engage prospective investors.
  • Play a key role in the quarterly earnings process, preparing communication materials and talking points and relevant Q&A for senior leadership.
  • Assess the relative positioning of the company and track global market, industry and comparable company trends.
  • Provide strategic insights and market intelligence gathered to assist senior leadership in understanding relative performance and positioning.
  • Participate in acquisition efforts globally, including strategy and sourcing, due diligence, negotiation and execution, and post-acquisition transition and integration.
  • Conduct financial, operational, accounting and regulatory impact analysis on acquisition, capital raising and capital solution impacts, evaluating opportunities and risks of prospective organic and inorganic investment alternatives globally.
  • Structuring and execution of primary and secondary capital solutions and balance sheet optimization, including debt, equity, derivatives and hybrid financing
  • Actively develop the acquisition pipeline and maintain key relationships with prospective targets and counterparties
