Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective execution of HBG’s comprehensive DEI strategy, aligning initiatives with the company mission and pillars.
  • Collaborate with publishing divisions and leadership to integrate DEI principles into all aspects of HBG's operations and culture.
  • Measure, track, and analyze the effectiveness of DEI initiatives; report progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate open and practical dialogue throughout HBG to foster greater understanding of DEI principles and their integration into HBG’s culture and operations.
  • Partner with the recruitment team to enhance HBG’s talent strategy by promoting HBG to candidates from a diversity of backgrounds, building a robust hiring pipeline, and recommending partnerships to generate leads.
  • Work across the DEI Advisory Board and Employee Resource Groups to align initiatives with organizational goals, amplify underrepresented voices, and foster a sense of belonging across all teams.
  • Support the development of DEL Learning Sessions and L&D programs to enhance DEI and cultural competency.
  • Identify and develop partnerships with external speakers, experts, and educators to enhance HBG’s DEI efforts.
  • Advise the communications team on internal and external communications, including social media, with a DEI lens.
  • Help guide HBG’s external positioning on DEI through public engagement, partnerships, and external communications.
