Responsibilities

  • Oversees Day to Day Finance and Accounting operations for the Design Hotels offices in Germany, UK, Singapore and the US
  • Processes month-end and year-end closings in conjunction with the corporate schedule
  • Responsible for VAT submission and timely payments
  • Responsible for development of the monthly forecast, the annual operating budget, and capex planning.
  • Assists with liquidity and investment planning activities
  • Serves as point of contact for financial and tax auditors
  • Prepares the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including cash flow analysis
  • Prepares the management reporting including key performance indicators (KPIs) for the balanced scorecard
  • Oversees and maintains the financial system applications
  • Reviews and enhances accounting and controlling for all operational processes within the company
  • Maintains strong internal controls and procedures
  • Ensures administrative office’s polices and processes are in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensures monthly full reconciliation of Design Hotels Entities Balance Sheet accounts (MIP-66)
  • Responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the Finance & Accounting team of Design Hotels
  • Sets goals and expectations for direct reports using the Leadership Performance Process (LPA) and holds staff accountable for successful performance
