Responsibilities

  • 1. Report to the CTO and hold accountability for the ways of working, tooling and tracking of in-flight projects.
  • 2. Help ITV’s engineering and product teams focus on completing projects on time, on spec and to budget.
  • 3. Act as a change leader – focused on efficiency and effectiveness – working with the leadership team in Product Management, Engineering, Group Technology, Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering and Cyber Security and other Stakeholders to define and introduce consistent patterns of working.
  • 4. Provide transparency in reporting project status and decision-making to the wider business.
  • 5. Measure and report a consolidated view across all of technology key metrics such as delivery, quality, team performance, risks & issues, and financial metrics.
  • 6. Add efficiency, visibility and predictability to delivery and measurable performance indicators of the Technology function.
