Responsibilities

  • You’ll be responsible for achieving revenue and profit targets in the division and contribute to the overall success of the cluster (UK and Ireland), while maintaining and delivering high standards of operational and visual excellence.
  • Review weekly sales performance and KPIs, looking for opportunities to improve excellence Share successes with peers and look for opportunities to improve performance across retail Set accurate, stretching but achievable budgets and targets for stores within division
  • Regularly review and manage divisional P+L, driving a culture of revenue driving and cost management, in particular payroll and productivity management
  • Business partner with key stakeholders to grow divisional performance e.g., merch, VM, training, HR
  • Have up to date strong knowledge of markets within division and report to SD for any factors impacting sales and propose & implement solutions
  • Looks for property opportunities, relocations, refits, refreshes, closures reporting back to SD and PD with a business case if appropriate
  • Execute global, cluster and departmental strategy
  • Ability to generate and execute own divisional strategy using the above as a basis
  • Brings new initiatives and ideas to drive departmental objectives
  • Owns and executes on the above and sponsor roles to fruition
  • Sponsor key departments to execute other departmental strategies and day to day operations Ensure compliance of directives from head office and manage non-compliance accordingly
  • Recruit, induct and train the very best talent for now and for future
  • Manage regional manager performance regularly and foster a healthy performance management culture coaching the regional managers through a balance of support and challenge
  • Ability to recognise talent, build succession plans
