Responsibilities

  • Coordinate both in-person and potentially virtual workshops.

  • Provide screening and referral services and leverage a network of local, regional, and state resources for employment and employment readiness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for activities in assigned areas of responsibility for all stakeholders, including representatives from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, Department of Labor, State Adjutant General offices, American Job Centers, and DOL VETS State Directors, among others.
  • Manage supplies, instructional materials, and office equipment, and prepare periodic reports.
  • Availability to work extended hours, including weekdays, weekends, and some holidays, may be necessary to meet emerging requirements under changing and constrained timelines.
  • Must communicate effectively, be comfortable instructing and speaking in front of groups, demonstrate observational skills, engage audiences, and respond to inquiries independently.
  • Possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently both on-site with clients and remotely.
