What is the primary role of the Dual role - Lab & Mobile Patient Technician?
The primary role is as a Lab Patient Technician, responsible for specimen collection and preparation for transportation, while also fulfilling duties as a Mobile Lab Patient Technician.
What are the working hours for this position?
The successful candidate will be required to work at three sites with specific hours: Chatham PSC from 7:15 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays 7:45 am to 12:15 pm, Wallaceburg PSC from 7:45 am to 4:15 pm, and Blenheim Sessional on Wednesdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

This position is part-time.
What qualifications are required for this role?
Candidates should ideally be graduates of an approved Laboratory Assistant program or have equivalent experience. Phlebotomy experience and good computer skills are also preferred.
Are there any vaccination requirements for this position?
Yes, successful candidates are expected to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
How long is the training period for this role?
The training period will take about 2 months, during which candidates will be scheduled full-time.
Is a driver's license required for this position?
Yes, a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required as part of this role.
