What are the key responsibilities of the ECG Technician at BCHS?
The ECG Technician is responsible for ensuring that the patient's needs are met in a caring and professional manner, in accordance with hospital legislation, regulations, bylaws, policies, and procedures. This includes interaction with the Cardiovascular Technologist and other healthcare professionals.
What educational qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates must have a Secondary School Diploma, be graduates of a Cardiovascular Technologist Diploma Program, hold Ontario Association of Cardiology Technologists (OACT) registration, and maintain current CPR Certification.
How much experience is required for this role?
A minimum of 1 year of current experience in an ECG lab is required for this position.
