Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will support the EHR team and wider organisation to manage medication, clinical trials and cancer chemotherapy protocols within our EHR system, Epic.
  • The post holder will oversee and be responsible for the design, configuration, build, and testing of these application modules, mainly focussing on Willow Inpatient and Research.
  • Working in conjunction with the EHR delivery managers, they will be responsible for close working with the other application teams in the EHR programme (e.g. outpatients).
  • This includes supporting the managers to ensure the team execute relevant plans and deliver work on time in adherence to the established governance structure and quality standards.
  • They will engage regularly with clinicians and operational managers, analysing service needs, and helping them to agree and deliver clinical best practice standards, future workflows and system optimisation.
  • The work will include developing, managing and supporting other analysts, and working closely with training, technical, information, programme management, benefits and communications staff.
  • We have excellent relationships with departmental leads, super-users and subject matter experts who help prioritise our workstreams.
  • We also have a rolling upgrade programme which delivers new features and functionality to ensure the system is up-to-date.
