Requirements

  • Must have a degree or HND in Controls / Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of designing electro-mechanical solutions
  • Awareness of electrical principles, legislation and standards (e.g., EN60335)
  • Good teamwork and logical approach
  • Enjoys learning with an appetite for personal development
  • Full UK driving lisence advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Electrical aspects (not including software) of product development and continuous improvement of products in serial production.
  • Tasks include:
  • Project support
  • Cable harness development
  • Electrical approvals
  • Creation of technical documents (e.g. appliance declarations)
  • Technical knowledge of electrical components
  • Application of electrical standards and electrical principles
  • Use of design and analysis tools
  • Produce test equipment and prototype components
