  • The Must Haves:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software/Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Python, embedded C, C++.
  • Good knowledge of mutual exclusion, synchronization, interrupt handling, inter-process communication, etc.
  • Self-starter with the ability to seek answers and work independently.
  • Positive work attitude, highly motivated and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a lab environment and integrate software onto custom hardware.

  • Develop applications which extend the capabilities of the O-NID
  • Development of embedded, real-time software for telecommunications systems
  • Coding and testing of software
  • Support of testing activities in the release where feature is delivered
  • In this role you will…
  • Work as part of a design team developing software features to support Optical/Ethernet based initiatives
  • Aid product support team when required
  • Work closely with Senior Designers who will provide mentoring and coaching
  • Collaborate with other design teams and support organizations
  • Provide problem-solving and analysis and have n impact on scripting and Embedded C programming
