Responsibilities

  • You will represent the Employee Engagement task force at the Barleben Distribution Center and contribute to the broader team’s efforts to align engagement initiatives.
  • Your role will involve supporting local programs to foster a culture of inclusivity and two-way communication, using a variety of communication tools such as screens, flyers, text messages, posters, and in-person meetings.
  • You will oversee current engagement programs and collaborate with local site operations and the People team to help roll out new initiatives. You will also evaluate the effectiveness of these programs via employee roundtables and surveys and identify areas for improvement to ensure they meet the diverse needs of employees.
  • Working directly with employees, you will gather feedback and help identify ways to improve the local workplace culture. You will build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, particularly Operations, to ensure the employee experience is a priority.
  • Additionally, you will collaborate with the local People team to ensure smooth and effective operational processes, and provide support for ad-hoc projects as needed by the People or Operations teams.
