Responsibilities

  • Manage the logistical and tactical support for on and off-campus recruiting activities to support over 4500 Michigan Ross students across seven different degree programs.
  • Provide companies with benchmarking analysis (industry trends, recruiting policies and reviewing job descriptions/job titles) to strengthen their on-campus recruiting relationship.
  • Participate in the planning and knowledge sharing of recruitment practices and gather and present student feedback during company strategy meetings.
  • Maintain, evaluate and approve over 800 company recruiting activities and 5000 job schedules annually.
  • Advise students on the on-campus interview process and how to approach and correspond with company recruiters.
  • Answer all questions and act as the resident expert on the recruiting and advising system (12Twenty) for students and recruiters to ensure they can easily use the system for recruiting and coaching appointments.
  • Represent CDO to current and visiting prospective students and student organizations.
  • In conjunction with the Director of Employer Relations, hire all front desk student workers.
  • Responsible for all training and onboarding of front desk student workers.
  • Prepare the front desk staff work schedules.
  • Responsible for student worker payroll activities.
  • Oversee work assignments for front desk staff, coordinate with all CDO staff to ensure alignment on priorities of work and provide feedback.
