Responsibilities

  • As a Paralegal you can look forward to gaining experience by holding responsibility for a diverse and challenging contentious caseload.
  • We act on behalf of Claimant’s and Respondent’s from the very point a dispute arises right through to trial so no two days are ever the same!
  • You will gain real “hands on” experience across a broad range of claims and defences and will become an expert on employment law and negotiation and settlement tactics.
  • The Employment Team deals with all aspects of employment law including litigation and advisory work for both employees and employers.
  • The type of work the team deals with on a day-to-day basis includes advising on unfair dismissal claims, discrimination and whistle blowing.
  • As well as acting for employees and employers during the litigation process we also provide advisory HR services, such as advising on employee handbooks and the drafting of employment contracts to support and guide businesses through the complexity of employment law requirements.
  • The team also deals with its own advocacy.
  • We encourage early responsibility with a real emphasis on creating opportunities to promote our lawyers from within the team.
