What are the primary responsibilities of the Engineering Project Manager?
The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of engineering projects, managing a team of engineers and designers, ensuring projects are completed within budget and schedule, and serving as the primary contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
What types of projects will the Engineering Project Manager work on?
The Engineering Project Manager will work on single and multi-discipline engineering, EPCM or EPC projects across various sectors, including Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, and Food.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates should have extensive experience as an Engineering Manager or Project Manager in multi-discipline projects within an Engineering/EPCM/EPC company. A BSc/BEng/MSc or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline, and preferably Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, are also beneficial.
Is experience with specific contractual frameworks required?
Yes, candidates should have a good understanding of working with common standard forms of contract such as NEC3 and 4, and FIDIC.
