Responsibilities

  • Understanding the Business Requirements and translating them to the technical functional deliverables
  • Work with Business and other system to design the solution
  • Be a Subject Matter expert for the functionality
  • Solve the problem with the right technology
  • Work with Lead Solution Architect on Roadmap and Agile delivery
  • Facilitate product capability strategy, produce detailed architecture artifacts, and collaborate with business and engineering stakeholders
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, identifies reusable patterns, and demonstrate Agile architecture. Manage and guide junior architects to complete Segment ARB reviews
  • Demonstrate expert understanding of technology stacks for software components across various capabilities
  • Understand deployment patterns for software components, including their costs, and lead efforts to migrate to new deployment patterns as part of modernization
  • Demonstrate expertise in security, performance, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and usability in solution design
  • Evaluate service areas and makes recommendations for automation within multiple capabilities and recommends retrospectives to drive continuous improvement
  • Stay current with evolving technologies to identify opportunities to apply technology in new ways, and lead teams to identify and recommend prototypes and pilots to demonstrate advantages and limitations
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).
