Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with high academic standing
  • One year of working experience preferred
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Ability to manage a variety of assignments and meet internal and client deadlines
  • Ability to manage certain projects with limited supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, organizational skills, and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to meet business needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with individuals of all levels within the firm and clients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of matters and manage time and expectations
  • Strong administrative, analytical, and researching skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • ADA Requirements:
  • Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances
  • Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
  • Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals
  • Ability to carry light to moderate objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance
  • Must be able to lift, carry and move objects up to 15/20/25 lbs. on occasion

Responsibilities

  • Assist with organization of materials, overall management of matter, and drafting of documents for your assigned practice area
  • Conduct research, both internal and external, to support your attorney team
  • Review and proofread documents for team
  • Manage all aspects of matter with a proactive approach (ranging from forming entities, attending closings and preparing closing documents to support of Corporate practices, to preparing deposition and trial materials, and attending trial to support attorney teams)
  • Be accountable and have ownership for assigned projects.
  • Manage time records and ensure accurate and timely release of entries spent on projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
