What are the primary job duties for this Entry Level Scientist position?
Primary job duties include creating reagents, performing chemical tests, creating media for the lab, participating in customer and regulatory audits, measuring and dispensing reagents and chemicals, utilizing an ERP system, and operating laboratory instruments for DNA synthesis and formulation.
What educational background is preferred for this position?
A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with an Associates of Science will also be considered.
What kind of experience is required for this position?
Basic chemistry skills and experience with techniques such as UV-vis and Chromatography are required.
Will training be provided for operating the laboratory instruments?
Specific training on operating automatic and manual laboratory instruments can be expected, but a foundational understanding of basic chemistry techniques is necessary.
