  • Stantec is seeking a driven and motivated individual to join our team as a Traffic Analyst in Greenville, South Carolina. The selected candidate(s) will support our growing local and national practice and work directly with industry-leading transportation planners, designers, and engineers. Preferred candidates will have a passion for traffic engineering with a background in civil engineering. Candidates must be willing to travel and ideally have a valid driver’s license.
  • Stantec’s local Transportation Engineering Team encompasses the disciplines of Traffic Impact Studies, Corridor Studies, Safety Studies, Transportation Planning, Traffic Analysis, and Signal Design. The Team is involved in the analysis of a wide variety of transportation projects such as municipal, interstate widening, arterial widening, intersection improvements, roundabouts, complete streets, signal system upgrades, signal timing, and bicycle / pedestrian projects. These projects will offer you the opportunity to experience a broad range of professional experience. Technical experience with at least one of these key software programs is preferred: MicroStation, Synchro, or OpenRoads. Above all, the successful candidate will be organized, highly self-motivated and curious, have a friendly, professional demeanor, and be able to multitask, ask questions, and learn from feedback.


  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) minimum
  • EIT certification in South Carolina or ability to obtain within 6 months is preferred
  • Internship or engineering experience is a plus

Area of Responsibilities



  • Working primarily in the Traffic Analysis disciplines.
  • Gather project data.
  • Support the production of traffic engineering reports.
  • Perform site visits as needed.
  • Observe and attend meetings with Stantec team, and other project stakeholders.
  • Other related tasks as assigned.
