What qualifications are required for the Environmental Compliance Specialist II position?

You will be responsible for reviewing Public Health Environmental Investigation reports, databases, fiscal reimbursement records, Hazard Control Orders, Clearance reports, Notices of Compliance and Non-Compliance, and other related environmental investigation and enforcement documents.
Do I need to be licensed for any specific qualifications?
Yes, you must be a licensed lead risk assessor for the Lead Program. For those involved with air quality, certification as a visual emission reader is required.
Will I be responsible for issuing any certifications?
Yes, in the Building & Housing department, you will be responsible for issuing lead safe certificates to property owners.
