Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational health & safety, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and health & safety principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental and health & safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
  • Assist in the identification and evaluation of potential environmental and health & safety hazards.
  • Support the development and delivery of training programs and initiatives to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Participate in incident investigations and help identify root causes to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and industry best practices.
