Responsibilities

  • Provide support in certain daily activities such as inspections, log readings, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Provide support to implement actions related to the Auwahi Wind environmental permits and mitigation sites.
  • Support monitoring efforts including Hawaiian Hoary Bat, Hawaiian Petrel, Blackburn Sphinx Moth, and Vegetation monitoring on Ulupalakua Ranch, DOFAW, and DHHL lands.
  • Conduct mitigation efforts including out-planting of native Hawaiian plant species, monitoring of native Hawaiian and non-native species, and control or removal of harmful non-native species.
  • Provide support with data entry, protocol development, and inventory control.
  • Support Ulupalakua Ranch personnel with their activities related to Auwahi Wind.
