Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline.
  • 2+ years of working experience in testing electronics, electro-mechanical assemblies, or integrated systems.
  • Experience in performing vibration, shock, or acoustic testing.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans and test procedures from requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly cross-functional role.

  • Hands-on experience using data acquisition systems.
  • Experience with space flight components and spacecraft environmental testing.
  • Experience with designing and building electrical harnesses and connectors.
  • Experience in operating cranes, man lifts, forklifts, and handling equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Define test processes and setup of the dynamics environmental test areas and systems.
  • Collaborate with design engineering to define dynamics environmental test equipment specifications, identify vendors, qualify equipment, and introduce to production.
  • Design and develop test setups and fixturing for engineering development and qualification testing.
  • Perform dynamics analysis, evaluate test results, and prepare test reports for stakeholder review.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts for dynamics environmental test equipment, fixtures, and procedure related issues.
  • Lead Design for Test efforts to optimize for environmental test production processes.
  • Create procedures, standards, and tools for test operations and related processes.
  • Operate and conduct environmental testing as needed.
  • Provide direction for technicians as needed.
