Requirements

  • Graduate degree in a related discipline (business, finance, international relations and/or social science).
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in country and/or ESG research.
  • Demonstrated interest in sustainability topics; knowledge of financial markets and ESG investment approaches will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor country news across a range of topics (e.g. conflict, disaster, repression, and corruption).
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of relevant events and their potential to impact countries’ natural, produced and institutional capitals, as well as the on ability of countries to manage their wealth.
  • Ability to present research insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the quality and timely publication of research deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development of analyst guidance, research process documentation and technical solutions to improve research quality and efficiency.
  • Review the assessments and provide guidance to junior analysts.
  • Assist in responding to client queries, as necessary integrating your research insights into their investment decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the organization, as necessary.
