Responsibilities

  • Event Planning & Coordination: Develop and manage event plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful execution.
  • Supplier Management: Liaise with suppliers, venues, and contractors to secure services and materials for events.
  • Internal & Owned Channels Communication:
  • Create and send pre- and post-event communications.
  • Compile the weekly internal communications email for 300+ colleagues using an email marketing tool.
  • Upload press releases to the Starpubs.co.uk News section.
  • Repurpose press releases and licensee communications for social media.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for event materials such as videos, internal documents, social media assets, and invites.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • On-site Event Management: Oversee setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring smooth event operations.
  • Post-Event Analysis: Conduct evaluations, gather feedback, and measure event success, identifying areas for improvement.
  • External Engagement: Support our Public Affairs agenda by helping with MP letters and setting up pub visits.
  • Crisis Management: Develop contingency plans for potential event issues and manage social media messages and comments, escalating when necessary.
  • Brand Representation: Ensure all events and communications align with Star Pubs branding and values.
