  • Significant previous experience in an EA role, supporting 1 or more senior executives (SVP/VP levels)
  • High level of knowledge and skill in use of Microsoft Outlook and applications, Ariba Finance system, Workday, AppSpace, Concur and other GSK applications as required to perform role effectively
  • Experience of learning new software and platforms, and a keen curiosity and willingness to test and use AI and related digital tools to work better and faster
  • Experience dealing with external clients (e.g., Government, Government organizations and other VIPs)
  • Experience of dealing with and managing sensitive and highly confidential information
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build effective and sustainable working relationships and networks, and communicate with all levels of management; with discretion, professionalism and confidence to all stakeholders internal and external to the company

Responsibilities

  • Full diary management and co-ordination of schedule on behalf of SVP, Communications & Government Affairs (Corporate & Commercial) & CCO Office
  • Track and follow up on key deliverables and manage deadlines, proactively get ahead of issues
  • Organisation of internal / external meetings & events, agendas, facilities, meeting materials, budgets and associated planning, and coordination of external visitors
  • Create expenses reports, reconciling expenses with receipts, submitting reports in a timely manner
  • Proactively organise travel itineraries, travel visas and other related business requirements
  • Perform nominated administrative duties as required for effective operation of the direct reports team
  • In SVP’s absence, must be able to deal with issues and pass on to appropriate staff as necessary
  • Provide cover for CGA function as needed (holiday/sickness absences)
  • Support special projects and initiatives as required
