Responsibilities

  • Planning and facilitating group interventions both in and out of the classroom.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure that the needs in the class are met.
  • Implement class behaviour policies and support the teacher with behaviour management.
  • Provide personalised support to pupils, on both a 1:1 and small group basis, including pupils with individual education plans and EHCPs.
  • Consistently promote positive behaviour.
  • Organise and prepare teaching materials for effective learning.
