Responsibilities

  • Develop and design detailed OSP system layouts, including route analysis, fiber optic cable placement, pole line and underground conduit systems, and other related infrastructure
  • Telecom design and documentation of OSP and fiber design, documentation, specifications, and construction administration
  • Perform field surveys and site visits to collect data and assess potential construction challenges
  • Create Detailed Drawings and Maps using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Software
  • Work closely with municipal authorities and other utility services to obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Monitor project progress, providing updates and adjustments to designs as needed to address field changes and challenges
  • Analyze and select appropriate materials and technologies to optimize network performance and cost-efficiency
  • Partnering with lead designers for final drawings and calculations
