Responsibilities

  • The primary responsibility of the Manager, Field Sales position is to coach, lead, manage, develop and train their teams to maximize the value of retail using the general manager mindset. They are responsible for ensuring the achievement of NIM sales, trade, share and distribution objectives to drive HPT, Client Satisfaction, and develop future talent for the OpCos. Acts as the account point person responsible for key sales survey, distribution and display information at store level (where applicable).
  • Achieve all KPI’s, must win battles and company initiatives
  • Review the results of deployed activities to ensure expected results are achieved
  • Partner with account team and SOM to identify store level selling opportunities
  • Conduct market manager/customer meetings as required
  • Coach and develop direct team members to achieve all objectives
  • Partners with HR to staff any open territories
  • Promotes workforce diversity and upward mobility among all team members to reflect Nestle’s consumer base
  • Conducts work withs to provide coaching and observe individuals in market execution
  • Lead People Development and Performance process for each direct report
  • Deliver results while adhering to Nestle SHE compliance expectation
  • Manage expenses in a fiscally responsible manner
  • Communicate market observation to SOMs, account teams and posted on WorkPlace
  • Partner with local deployer to make any territory adjustments
  • Communicate with SOMs to address activity opportunities as needed
  • Conduct area level meeting with direct reports to review business results
