Requirements

  • You should be a graduate from an undergraduate programme of study within the last two years or due to complete your undergraduate programme this summer. We are keen to hear from candidates who possess a strong interest, and potentially some experience (although this is not essential), in finance, accounting and audit.
  • To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate good analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills. Experience of working with a range of stakeholders and balancing competing priorities would also be beneficial to the role.

Responsibilities

  • The Financial Control team is responsible for accounts production, external financial reporting, technical accounting advice, taxation compliance and robust financial control across the University.
  • The Internal Audit team is responsible for providing robust and objective assurance on, and insight and advice about, the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls, covering the full scope of the University’s operations (including Finance and other areas).
