Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of 34+ you will be overseeing all aspects of financial operations and transactional management and associated cash flow for the NEXT business and Total Platform partners across 600+ stores and 90+ websites globally as well as providing expert advice and managing business risk and compliance in these areas.
  • You’ll be managing customer payment options and receivables c£5bn, giftcards and retail stock ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all systems.
  • In addition you will be responsible for the associated business projects, new payment opportunities and external relationships and will be a key interface to the wider business at all levels.
  • You’ll need to be a qualified accountant with strong control skills as you’ll be managing and overseeing the financial accounting, reporting, associated costs, revenues, processes and financial controls in the area as well as providing decision support, analysis and performance metrics.
  • A big part of the role will require strong organisation and leadership skills as you will be responsible for managing teams and developing individuals to deliver the highest standards of service required in the business as well as driving efficiency, change and innovation.
  • You’ll have lots of opportunity to demonstrate your exceptional interpersonal skills as you’ll be working with a broad spectrum of people internally and also be managing strategic 3rd party relationships and contracts.
