Responsibilities

  • Delivery of the financial results of the cluster (P&L and Balance Sheet) taking ownership of the Financial Statements and the assurance process within the cluster for each period end
  • Manage the period end process for the cluster, with the majority of activities being performed by the Service Delivery Center (GBS) located in Warsaw, Poland
  • Accountable for ensuring that policies, processes and controls are in place locally (within global frameworks and guidance), and that any controls and compliance activities which need to take place locally, are being performed
  • The Cluster Controller will be the main point of contact for the GBS and will ensure there is a timely response from the Cluster
  • Supervision of the Procure to Pay and Order to Cash processes of the cluster and monitoring of the Service Level agreed with GBS
  • The Cluster Controller will work with Group Finance to ensure the Group Accounting policies are applied at the Cluster level and that any significant estimates are well-documented and reviewed
  • The scope of markets in responsibility of the Northern Europe Cluster are Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland
