Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (with a preference in accounting)
  • Strong interest and/or relevant work experience in credit or financial analysis and/or, accounting,
  • Strong proficiency with Excel including Macros, VLOOKUP’s, and Pivot Tables
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Ability to develop specialized analytical skills in terms of financial statement analysis including ratio analysis for a variety of financial sectors
  • Demonstrated attention to detail skills and willingness to see that tasks are followed through to ultimate conclusion
  • Play a key role in the production of standardized research and ad hoc reports including extensive use of Excel for data population and manipulation for use in published analytical reports
  • Willingness to collaborate with analysts in disparate locations and learn new skills
