What is the main focus of the Financial Reporting - Associate 2 position?
The main focus of the position is to support the production and oversight process for SEC Form N-PORT and N-CEN filings, manage client relationships, and collaborate with the application support team and Agile technology labs for technology solutions regarding these filings.
What are the primary responsibilities of this role?
The primary responsibilities include performing detailed calculation testing, executing client-specific tasks, preparing and filing N-PORT and N-CEN forms, responding to client comments, reviewing alerts/exceptions, assisting with user access requests, providing client training, onboarding additional funds and clients to the ESP tool, and completing internal reviews of the filings.
What qualifications are preferred for this position?
Preferred qualifications include experience in mutual funds accounting, compliance, auditing, or related business activities, as well as a good knowledge of financial products like bonds, swaps, futures, options, and equities.
What educational background is required for this job?
The position requires an equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus but not required. Experience in financial accounting and derivative products is also beneficial.
