What is the primary responsibility of a Fine Jewelry Sales Associate?
The primary responsibility is to drive store sales by providing excellent customer service and product knowledge, helping clients choose special jewelry pieces that create lasting memories.
What are the sales goals I should expect to meet?
You will be expected to meet or exceed personal weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals, as well as goals related to Elite Service Plan attachments, presales, repair sales, and other metrics.
Is experience in fine jewelry necessary for this role?
While fine jewelry experience is preferred, retail or sales experience is required.
What are the physical requirements for this position?
Physical requirements include the ability to stand for the duration of a shift, bend, and stoop, lift up to 30 lbs., and perform fine jewelry repairs with manual dexterity.
Do I need to complete any specific training for this job?
Yes, you must complete all required Fine Jewelry Training and pass quizzes with a minimum score of 8.
What are the working hours for this position?
You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, depending on the needs of the Fine Jewelry Department.
What kind of customer interactions can I expect?
You will develop customer relationships that span generations, assisting clients in selecting fine jewelry while also building a clientele through follow-up and customer service.
What security standards must I adhere to?
You are required to maintain Fine Jewelry security standards, including keeping keys on your person, showing only one piece of merchandise at a time, and ensuring that showcases and safes are always locked.
How do I assist customers in selecting jewelry?
You will assist customers by understanding their needs, suggesting complimentary items, and guiding them through our selection of fine jewelry.
What types of repairs am I expected to perform?
You will complete minor repairs on fine jewelry, such as removing watch links and changing watch batteries.
