Requirements

  • Sales & Leadership Experience: Proven experience (10+ years) in sales and key account management in a B2B environment, ideally within the logistics, electric vehicles, or sustainability sectors. Prior experience managing teams is essential.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer relationship management skills, with a deep understanding of project-sales approach and the ability to align customer challenges with tailored solutions.
  • Negotiation & Communication: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers at the highest level.
  • Sustainability Commitment: A passion for ESG goals and a strong desire to contribute to sustainable urban logistics and the green mobility transition.
  • Market Knowledge: Knowledge of the last-mile delivery market, regulatory frameworks, and electric vehicle solutions is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel internationally (Europe) as required to meet customers and support the team.

Responsibilities

  • Take direct responsibility for managing Flexis' largest and most strategic international clients, including 3PLs and Retailers.
  • Establish and nurture long-term partnerships by understanding the complex needs of these clients and offering comprehensive logistics solutions, including electric vehicles and associated services.
  • Lead contract negotiations, from initial discussions to closing deals, ensuring both Flexis' and the customer’s goals are met.
  • Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of Flexis solutions within key accounts, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor Key Account Managers across specific regions, ensuring they develop strong customer relationships and achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Value Proposition & Sales Support team to co-design comprehensive solutions that address customer ESG, operational, and financial needs.
  • Promote a holistic sales approach, positioning Flexis as a key partner in customers' sustainability journeys, while improving safety and efficiency in urban areas.
  • Ensure customer needs are translated into tailored vehicle and service solutions, aligned with Flexis’ product offerings and long-term sustainability goals.
  • Lead the development of commercial strategies in your area of responsibility, working closely with the Head of Country Directors and other regional leaders.
  • Stay informed about market trends, regulatory environments, and competitor activities in each country, adjusting the sales approach accordingly.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the broader Flexis team to continuously adapt and improve Flexis’ solutions, ensuring market relevance.
  • Foster collaboration across Flexis’ internal teams, including the Service & Solution Program and support functions, ensuring a seamless flow of information and alignment on key customer priorities.
  • Encourage a customer-centric mindset throughout the organization, championing feedback loops that allow Flexis to stay agile and responsive to client needs.
  • Work cross-functionally with product development and marketing teams to ensure the product/service offering evolves in line with market demands.
  • Regularly report on key account activities, team performance, and sales forecasts to the senior leadership team.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions, project execution, and overall sales performance.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the sales approach based on performance metrics and customer feedback.
