  • A teaching qualification, namely a PGCE or a B.Ed. with QTS in Food Technology or Hospitality/Catering/Food Science.
  • Have recent experience teaching KS3 and KS4. Experience teaching KS5 is ideal but not essential.
  • Passionate about teaching Food Technology along with a strong command of the subject
  • Strong interpersonal skills and classroom behaviour management - although children are generally well behaved in the school
  • Are a committed and reflective professional who strives for continued improvement
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one with GSL Education.

  • Delivering dynamic and interactive lessons for KS3, KS4 and KS5 that capture students' imaginations and foster their passion for food technology.
