Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of one (1+) year of multimedia video experience, preferably in sports
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior media experience a plus
  • Familiarity with Bay Area sports
  • Excellent organization, collaboration, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Positive work ethic, ability to work well in groups to help execute projects on time
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with different departments
  • Keen to learn and develop new skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Additional Job Requirements:
  • Must be willing to work on-site in San Francisco
  • Willingness work overtime, holidays, and on weekends with short notice
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Required On-Site:
  • This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite - San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

  • A snapshot of your responsibilities:
  • Ingesting and monitoring several live programming and game feeds
  • Archiving media into Sony Backbone Hive
  • Properly catalogue media assets
  • Basic Non-linear editing
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with News, Live Events, Engineering, Marketing, Web and Social for network needs
  • Organizing and delivering content requests from various departments
  • Sustaining diligence and a high attention to detail
  • Producing work that is consistently professional, reliable and detail-oriented
