Do we support remote work?
Yes, all roles with Chainlink Labs are global and remote-based, and we encourage some overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
What technologies should I be familiar with for this position?
You should have a proven experience with React, TypeScript, ShadCN JS framework, Tailwind CSS, and Storybook. Familiarity with Next.js and basic knowledge of Figma are also beneficial.
Is there an emphasis on design systems in this role?
Yes, you will help shape and contribute to a robust design system, building reusable UI components and ensuring consistency across products.
What level of experience is required for applicants?
We strongly prefer candidates to have 5+ years of experience in front-end or design engineering.
Will I be collaborating with other teams?
Yes, you will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to conceptualize and implement new features.
What skills are considered a "nice to have"?
Nice to have skills include knowledge of web3 libraries like Wagmi, Ethers, and Viem, as well as familiarity with building visually rich marketing or documentation sites using Webflow.
Are there opportunities for rapid prototyping in this role?
Yes, you will have the opportunity to rapidly prototype new features and interactions to validate ideas and inform the product roadmap.
Is previous experience in Web3/Blockchain/Crypto necessary?
It's not mandatory, but an interest in or previous exposure to decentralized technologies is preferred.
