Responsibilities

  • General housekeeping and maintaining standards of cleanliness throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Perform general material handling duties.
  • Assist machine operators and crew with other duties as assigned.
  • Assist operators with set-ups, setting feed guides that include side guides, air, pressure, rolls, feed, gauge belts and clearing jam-ups.
  • Consult with operator as to order sequence.
  • Printing Load tags and preparing next order or closure of order
  • Manually feed stock into machine, ensure that machine is continually kept full.
  • Check sheets for de-lamination, off register, defects, etc./ Quality Checks
  • Inform the operator and / or supervisor of any machine, equipment, quality or production problems immediately.
  • Ensure lockout is performed according to procedures posted on the machine.
  • Maintains a safe, clean work area and follows all safety procedures (including lockout/tagout), 5S, AIB, and other applicable standards.
  • Must be consciously aware of customer needs at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
