Responsibilities

  • With your cross-functional leadership team, define a compelling vision for the Eats SSA business and inspire the team to execute this vision.
  • Strategic thinking and planning with key stakeholders, formed by tying global priorities to local insights and innovation.
  • Careful financial planning and resource allocation (dollars, time, and people), including continued investment decisions as conditions change.
  • Following your vision, strategy, and investment decisions to deliver results for the South Africa & Kenya market, including financial performance to plan, sustainable competitive advantage, and team engagement.
  • Scale Uber Eats to other cities within South Africa and Kenya.
  • Negotiating, renewing, and supporting our largest Enterprise partnerships alongside the Enterprise Sales team - think global restaurant chains, major supermarkets, retailers, and other well-known food and FMCG brands.
  • Representing our brand and business in the media, at external events, and in front of politicians and policymakers.
