Responsibilities

  • Incumbent will work closely with the HR leadership (Associate Dean, Sr. Director and Director/Associate Director) to innovate on all personnel/academic appointments processing, from tracking incoming transactions, requests to reviewing employee documents and ensuring accurate e-filing and tracking open-items as identified by leadership.
  • The incumbent will work on special projects, and staff and handle routine data requests; maintain filing system.
  • In partnership with the MSPH HR leadership, provides day-to-day guidance and support to the assigned MSPH Administrative units, Centers and Departments on a variety of HR issues including talent acquisition and management, leave processing and appointment processing. The F/HR Generalist will partner with units to provide expert advice and support on recruitment and staffing related issues.
  • The incumbent will assist HR leadership in managing the annual faculty appointment renewal process and will develop tracking systems to monitor the renewal/termination of off cycle appointments for faculty and researchers.
  • In conjunction with HR leadership, the incumbent will draft and disseminate announcements to ensure that MSPH stakeholders are informed of updates to HR policies and other relevant news and information. As a member of the HR team to provide operational support and backup to team members as needed.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
