Responsibilities

  • Business Development - take the lead on expanding existing and building new multi-country multi-product partnerships with key strategic partners to drive business value with specific focus on fast growing new mobility segments, such as Micromobility, Vehicle Sharing & Subscription, Ride-Hailing, Last-Mile-Delivery, Platform Workers, Intermodal Mobility and many more. Main partners are found in the area of sharing operators, mobility OEMs, mobility platforms, technology providers and other ecosystem players. Together with a cross departmental team to attract and develop profitable and successful mobility business. Negotiate win-win deals, maximizing value creation for Allianz in the areas of accessing new customer segments & driving engagement, using platforms and accessing data.
  • Sales Management & Planning - responsible for managing and overseeing the entire sales process, including but not limited to RFPs. Fostering existing & leveraging new partnerships as a key growth engine for Allianz, focusing on global business development in joint collaboration within Allianz Partners and the wider Allianz Group. Developing and implementing a sales strategy incl. the definition of target universe and pro-active pipeline management.
  • New Business & Cross-selling - scaling growth across all customer segments through (1) insurance products & services, (2) distribution partnerships (3) co-creating / product & price bundles with partner products (4) new business models. Identifying, attracting, negotiating and closing new opportunities with new and existing partners. Leading multi-markets tender requests and international new Mobility projects. Building a comprehensive network within the ecosystem of new mobility with an understanding of key customer needs and requirements to support the development of new business solutions suiting the market trends and needs. Establish new partnerships as a key growth engine for Allianz / Allianz Partners, focusing on global business development in joint collaboration with the global lines and/or large BUs/OEs.
  • Thought Leadership & Communication - Cooperating, problem solving and managing internal and external stakeholders across all areas of the organization to ensure that the new business targets are achieved.
  • Creating thought leadership on digital ecosystems and partnership models. Ensuring internal & external communication is delivered appropriately and all key stakeholders are informed/involved as needed incl. production of insights through white papers and other publications.
  • Project & Deal Team Management - Steer and/or manage project & deal teams as part of business led initiative’s as well as own function/OE programs/projects. Manage expectations of the team and accompany them through the deal/project and ensure quality in each step. Collaborate with key stakeholders within Allianz Partners and Allianz Group to ensure alignment to overall company's strategy, direction and guidelines. Provide matrix leadership to a skilled team globally to best coordinate & manage global partnerships, build business cases and execute on partnership deals with BUs and/or OEs.
  • Best Practice Sharing - Activate/facilitate development of cross-domain solutions that combine knowledge of particular business opportunities, new business models, general market trends, customer requirements, technological changes and needs, customer journey delight & pain points and general process facilitation techniques.
