Requirements

  • MA, M.Arch, Dip Arch or equivalent architectural qualification. Minimum 2:1/ Merit or equivalent.
  • Must be able to demonstrate legal right to work in the UK and meet the requirements for Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English Language).
  • Demonstrate proficiency and professionalism in the responsibilities of the role.
  • Understanding of building construction techniques.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop applications; plus REVIT is essential.
  • Ability to understand and work to an agreed scope and project budget.
  • Flexible attitude to new ways and methods of working.
  • Knowledge and understanding of UK Construction procurement methodologies and how these relate to Specification Documentation.
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic.
  • Good understanding of BIM and new digital ways of working.
  • Ability to express ideas effectively, both orally and in writing.

  • Punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Producing designs and specifications, to assisting in technical reports, travelling to construction sites or participating in client meetings.
  • Assisting in the preparation of conceptual design work and the presentation of projects.
  • Supporting the design development of project proposals and feasibility studies.
  • Supporting the technical delivery and implementation of projects including preparing working drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
