Requirements

  • You will have:
  • At least a bachelor's degree (ideally a 2:1 or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems Analysis or Systems Engineering is required.
  • We are keen for you to also have an understanding of the following areas:
  • Technology / Digital strategy – understanding of how digital technology can support or drive organisational or industry level change. Able to analyse and articulate how technology can create business value and commercial advantage.
  • Information systems & architecture – ability to examine the role and effectiveness of information systems in delivering business processes and goals. Technical ability to examine the integration between systems in creating value.
  • Data & information – understanding of data and information management principles, including organisation, storage, dissemination, and security considerations, together with the ability to identify opportunities to leverage data and information.

  • We have opportunities for Digital Consultants to join our Digital Advisory team.
  • You will work as part of a team, develop consulting skills across all areas of the business whilst gaining experience in technology appraisal, business analysis, process improvement, enterprise architecture, technology business case development, digital delivery and integration, knowledge management, experience design, service design, digital decarbonisation and climate risk, as well as the specification and operations of technology systems and services. This role will be focussed on technology and strategy consultancy projects across the sectors we primarily work in – Transport, Energy, Water, Cities. You will have the opportunity to specialise, as early or late as you like, around specific topics such as data, business analysis and technology.
