The candidate must possess a good understanding of Excel, databases, AutoCAD, Power BI, and digital formats. They should have a Masters or strong Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, be studying or have studied an IMechE, CIBSE or Engineering Council accredited course, and have a desire to work towards CEng and full membership of a recognized professional institution. Additionally, they should have enthusiasm for developing digital tools, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and proactively.
The candidate will be responsible for conducting condition surveys, assessing existing buildings, writing reports, and developing strategies to achieve carbon targets. They will also be involved in preparing asset registers, maintenance specifications, and procuring maintenance contracts, as well as auditing compliance with statutory regulations and maintenance contractors. Additionally, the candidate will conduct life-cycle assessments and costing and review designs for maintainability.

You will need to possess a good understanding of:
Excel, including creating solution generated formats
Databases
Have experience / understanding of AutoCAD
Presentation aids such as Power BI and a good understanding of digital formats in general
For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:
Masters degree in, Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, however a strong Bachelors degree in these subjects will also be considered
Studying, or have studied, an IMechE, a CIBSE or an Engineering Council accredited course

As a graduate engineer, your role will include undertaking:
Condition surveys
Assessment of existing buildings
Report writing and contributing towards strategies to help achieve Carbon targets
Preparation of asset registers; maintenance specifications or tenders and procuring maintenance contracts
Undertake audits of compliance and statutory regulations associated with the operation of buildings and portfolios.
Auditing maintenance contractors
Life-cycle assessments and costing.
Review of designs for maintainability
