Requirements

  • Degree in STEM relevant subject such as: engineering, physics, chemistry, nuclear science, or similar.
  • To be considered you will need to have successfully completed your degree within the past 2 years at a UK university, and will possess a relevant degree from within the specialisms listed.
  • You will need to be self motivated, demonstrate the ability to work well with others, and have an interest in the development of a cleaner energy. Additionally, you will be passionate about self-development and you should have a proactive approach to your work with an enthusiasm to achieving your full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Use appropriate analysis tools to assess and develop the performance of future nuclear reactors and components in complex and representative environments.
  • Prepare reports and documentation and present research findings through appropriate meetings and forums.
  • Liaising with different stakeholder to ensure effective information sharing, access additional expert knowledge, and support projects.
  • There will be opportunities to work with or support other departments outside of the area you have been recruited into as a 3-6-month placement.
  • Participate and engage in the core training and development opportunities organised as part of the graduate scheme, capturing examples of competence on the development log.
